Computaleta introduce Zero Wall-Tex: A Zero-Waste printable wall graphic film made from recycled P.E.T. bottles.

In today's rapidly evolving world, sustainability has become a paramount concern across the signage and print industries. As businesses and consumers increasingly prioritise eco-friendly practices, innovative solutions like PVC-free print film have gained momentum.

More and more clients are asking for sustainable signage and graphics options. The trouble is those options are often too expensive, or they don't function at the same level as P.V.C. media and are not viable.

This is not the case with Zero Wall Tex.

Zero is very competitively priced versus similar products on the market, except it has a significant advantage: it is made from recycled P.E.T. plastic bottles and it can be recycled entirely right here in New Zealand at the end of its life.

Every year, 380 million tonnes of plastic bottles are used for single-time use, creating considerable waste. These bottles are thrown away and take at least 450 years to decompose. Through Zero, we have found a way to utilise this waste where it undergoes a meticulous process that involves sorting, shredding, washing, drying, and pelletising, and ultimately serves as the raw material for the Zero Wall-Tex print film.

Zero Wall Tex is a woven polyester fabric made from these recycled P.E.T. Bottles. It prints beautifully and is amazingly simple to apply, as it can be repositioned, producing high-quality wall graphics with a sustainable edge.

It is ideal for indoor murals, wall graphics, exhibitions, posters and P.O.S. Displays. This film contains no P.V.C. and no V.O.C.s, and it is easy to apply and has premium colour reproduction for excellent prints.

  • • White matte, 130um polyester (P.E.T.) fabric
  • • Made from 100% Recycled P.E.T. bottles
  • • Repositionable adhesive
  • • No V.O.C.s, 100% P.V.C. Free and fully recyclable through the Zero Waste Initiative.

What is the Zero Waste Initiative?

At the end of their life the Zero products get collected in bags, chipped and baled, and sent to FuturePost, where the recycled plastic transforms, becoming durable fence posts for Kiwi farmers.

These fence posts can be recycled repeatedly, providing a sustainable solution embodying a circular economy.
